The Brain-Pad mouth guards are one of the only items we carry that aren't custom made for us. We didn't see any point in trying to make something better than these (really - that good).
They protect your upper and lower teeth, allow you to breathe at the SAME TIME you're clenching your teeth, and keep your jaw in the optimal position to protect your TMJ sockets. You can trim and shape them (thermoplastic softens when boiled) to get a nice custom fit - but make sure you read the fitting instructions carefully before you start. The instructions aren't complicated, but over boiling will ruin them.
They also have an optional strap system (included) so you can use them with a helmet or lanyard. Fits comfortably over braces.
This particular style of mouth guard is designed for youth playing hard-hitting helmeted and non-helmeted contact sports. It is intended for kids 6 - 11 years old and the back portion is easy to trim to get a comfortable fit.
