This is a pair (2) of teardrop or curved focus mitts made of artificial leather. Basically the same thing as our "black and yellow curved mitts" but made of a/leather instead of real leather to keep the costs a bit lower. That means they are a little softer and won't stand up to quite as much punishment. They would work fine for home or light studio use, but heavy (MMA studio) use will wear them faster than the leather pair.
The striking surface of the mitts is concave, not flat, to help keep your strikes in the middle of the pads. The "gloves" on the back of the pads reach just to the break in the back of your wrist. That allows you to bend your hand back as far as you'd like during practice.
They are roughly 10'' long, 7 1/2" wide and 4 1/2" thick for extra shock absorbing. Open fingers and a Velcro wrist strap to make putting them on easier.
