tall people grappling gear...finally Review by eddie

Being 6'7" makes finding a rash guard with adequate sleeve length AND torso length difficult--you might not think so these days, but it is. This Piranha Gear Tall Rash Guard is an excellent solution for tall grapplers who have historically been limited to grappling in standard sized rash guards two sizes too small making us look as though we're trying to show off our abs while we roll.
The Piranha TALL rash guard is long enough for my 28" reach (arm pit to fist)/ 76" wingspan AND long enough in the torso that I can easily tuck it in my shorts with enough excess material that it won't ride up out of my shorts while rolling. The seamless underarm design is key for my long wingspan in that it allows for allot of stretch when, say, sitting up from my guard and wrapping my arm across the top of my opponent, or, for example, sitting up from my guard and stretching diagonally while going for a kimura.
There's a small Piranha logo on the back of the TALL rash guards just below the turtleneck. Hopefully there will be more color and design choices for the TALL Piranha rash guards in the future.

A great product gets even better with tall sizes Review by AuggieDog

I ordered two rash guards two years ago for use in black belt level jujutsu classes. As usual the sleeves and the body were a little short (I am 6'5", 200). I called Customer Service and wrote a note asking for tall sizes in the future, expecting nothing to come of it.
Since then I have worn the heck out the shirts, sliding over mats during ground flow and grappling and having some very large training partners pull on them (one tried to throw me with two grips on the rash guard). The shirts have never ripped or torn, and except for slightly stretched necks (makes a convenient handle when you are grappling) look great.
Imagine my happy surprise when I returned to place a new order and found that tall sizes have been added. I like the fact that tall sizes are available in the no-nonsense small ovel design. Sure, the mall ninjas want a "lifestyle accessory" that displays their love of MMA. The huge piranha design likely sells well with this crowd.
I want a shirt that fits and stands up to heavy abuse. Many thanks Piranha!(Posted on 7/25/10)
