A pink Shock Wave single weave, designed by us specifically for Jiu-Jitsu. It has a traditional "rice-grain" weave fabric for the entire jacket (not just the top and shoulders). The pants have reinforced quilted knees for durability. This design also features narrower sleeves, a shorter apron, and a thicker collar - a full 2" wide.

While we'd like to promise this pink uniform will stay "pink" forever, as with all clothing made of 100% cotton it will fade. Most of the fading will occur in the first 2 or 3 washes, but after that it will still be a pink uniform, just not quite as bright or vibrant. To keep a uniform that bright, you would need to select something constructed of man-made fiber such as nylon.

It was specifically designed to withstand heavy grappling during training and competition. The seams are reinforced - especially in the shoulders, lapel, underarms, and sleeves - to ensure durability.

This is NOT a generic grappling / Judo / Aikido uniform. While you can certainly use it for these styles, and we include it in those categories just because it's tough to find pink, it really is intended for the new Jiu-Jitsu student. This is especially true when it comes to the thickness of the collar. Many of the generic grappling uniforms (including ours) are not beefed up in the collar for Jiu-Jitsu techniques not used by the other arts. No one else makes this uniform cut in this weight.

It is made of 450g cotton and includes pants with an elastic waist that has an internal drawstring and a light-weight white belt of matching size. We also carry other belts which are colored, heavier or with BJJ rank sleeves as separate items.

Please note: these uniforms are sized with "Brazilian" sizes - with the "A" prefix. Those are NOT the same as the Western/Asian sizing. Please be sure to double check the size chart to make sure you are getting the size you wanted.

These uniforms tend to be cut for a slimmer, taller person. If you're between sizes or your body height and weight doesn't seem to fall inside the numbers listed, we recommend that if you're "tall & thin" go with height (you don't want it too short), "not tall" or "not thin" go with weight (you don't want it too small around your waist/stomach/chest).
