Jiu-Jitsu Gold Weave gi

This is a GOLD WEAVE "bleached white" gi designed specifically for grappling and throwing. This gi has a traditional "rice-grain" weave for the top and heavily reinforced pants for durability.

It was specifically designed to withstand the most intense grappling during training and competition. Seams are reinforced - especially in the shoulders, lapel and sleeves. It also has reinforcements (double thickness) in the underarms, jacket split and pants drawstring openings. The entire front knees have double thickness material and the pants have a cotton cord rather than material for the drawstring. This gi will last for YEARS.

This is DEFINITELY NOT intended for beginning students and we'd suggest you consider a "single weave" or light weight gi before investing in one of these. This uniform does NOT comes with a belt (if you're getting this, we kind of assume you already have one).

It is made of 100% 550g cotton and includes 10 oz drill cotton pants with a traditional drawstring waist. Note that it's made of long-strand cotton fibers. Not only does that mean that it's MUCH stronger, it's also vastly more comfortable. Compared to other gi's, this one feels like you're wearing silk. It is a Piranha Gear brand and truly one of the finest gi's on the market.
