These are medium weight uniform belts. Intended to be used for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with a black sleeve on one end for rank stripes (a red sleeve for the black belts).
It is made of 100% cotton with 9 rows of stitching and approximately 1 3/4" wide. Heavy enough to last a long time, but not so thick it won't stay tied.
Sizes are shown in both "Brazilian" (A1, A2, A3, etc.) and the "Western" equivalent (3, 4, 5, etc.), but the Brazilian sizes and Western "single digit" sizes are not the same thing. We include both types of size numbers for your convenience, but keep in mind a size "A3" corresponds to a size "5", etc.

Keep in mind these belt lengths assume a moderate amount of overhang after tying. If you're doing a grappling style (such as Judo or Jiu-Jitsu), you may want to go down one size if you want a shorter belt.
