Returns & Exchanges

All the information below is for purchases made PRIOR to March 19, 2018.  Since we're winding the company down, pretty much all sales are final at this point.  If you run into a problem, by all means reach out and we'll see if we can do something, but obviously we can't make any guarantees about replacements or size swaps if we're likely to be out of stock... :(  If you'd like more details please look here and thanks so much for the ride!




If you bought something from us and you're not happy, we'll do our best to make it right. No complicated refund process. No "Return Authorization Numbers". No excuses. No run-around. No BS.

If you made your purchase directly from us, we do ask that you make your return or exchange request within 60 days. We usually process returning items within 24 hours and you'll get an email saying the refund was processed or the exchange has been queued up to ship out. We're usually pretty good about that, so if you haven't heard anything for a while, please check the tracking information on the package you sent.

Unfortunately if you made your purchase somewhere else or your order was shipped from another website or a physical store/school, you'll need to contact them directly to find out how they wish to handle returns or exchanges.

When we process a refund paid via a credit card, we tell the credit card company right away to send you the refund.  While we process the return right away, your credit card company may take up to 7 business days to get the funds back into your account.  We've seen this take up to 14 business days for international orders.  Sadly there is nothing we can do about this as it's entirely up to your credit card company.

If an item in your order was broken or defective, please contact us with that information before you send anything back. We handle those situations on a case-by-case basis and want to figure out the best way to take care of you. But please keep in mind that all our gear is specifically designed to FUNCTION properly and we don't consider a cosmetic issue (such as a wrinkle or uneven seam) to be a flaw.  We have made that very clear to our factories and as a result we're able to keep our prices a tiny bit lower when we're willing to have a mark or wrinkle on something.

Sadly we've had too many cases of credit card and billing fraud associated with orders shipped to freight forwarding companies.  At this time we can no longer issue refunds or process returns for those orders.  Subsequently delivery confirmation from FedEx, USPS or any other shipper to the forwarder is considered a "successful delivery".  Also please do keep in mind that if the package was "Refused", "Return To Sender" or "Waiting for Pickup" on your end, we will probably not be able to refund the shipping charges.

NOTE for Summer of 2017: If the item was on sale because of our warehouse move (we're talking 30% to 60% off), we cannot do size exchanges or reimburse you for postage charges if you decide to return the item. If you need another size, you're welcome to purchase another of a different size, but because the inventory is changing so fast on these items, we can't guarantee your desired size will be available so don't wait on the return if you want to get another size. And as you can tell by the pricing, we simply can't afford to cover the postage on returned items at or below our actual cost.

Unfortunately we can't accept Ninjitsu uniforms purchased during the month of October for returns/refunds - though obviously we're more than happy to swap sizes or replace defective ones...  Sorry but they have proven to be too popular for "one time use" during Halloween. Ninjitsu uniforms returned from October orders will be subject to a 50% restocking fee if new/unused and will not be refunded or returned if they have been used.  We know it kind of sucks, but we've had too many come back after a single party use. :(

Used items returned after 30 days may be subject to a 50% restocking fee. Obviously, items bought on "Clearance" are not returnable...

Please note we have found that UPS does NOT always deliver to our address.  PLEASE USE ANOTHER SHIPPING METHOD!  We normally recommend USPS First Class (under 1 lbs.) or USPS Priority Mail (over 1 lbs.).

Please do try to give some extra thought to what we could have done to help avoid the return/exchange in the first place (size charts, particular angle for a photo, etc.). We'd really like to help the next person avoid the same issue. If you're having trouble with the PDF form, here's an alternate version you can print.

If you're exchanging the item for a different size or color, we don't charge any additional shipping as long as you're inside the U.S. (the first time anyway). If you're outside the US, additional shipping charges may apply when to sending a replacement. Please be sure to wash any clothing or uniforms that have been worn before returning. If you return a used item for a size swap we may substitute a washed/new item for the replacement.
